There is already an Intel Atom version of this Raspberry Pi sized device too, if you prefer.

Just a couple of things...
I'm liking the OS choice there. And there is not a CR2032 battery on those pictures....
Re: DFI introduces a credit card sized AMD Ryzen R1000 powered SBC
Yeah a 2032 would take up a huge amount of space..
Re: DFI introduces a credit card sized AMD Ryzen R1000 powered SBC
The battery is underside.
Re: DFI introduces a credit card sized AMD Ryzen R1000 powered SBC
Battery cable goes into that white terminal connector on the topside.
Re: DFI introduces a credit card sized AMD Ryzen R1000 powered SBC
That looks like it could be quite a nice little media player in all honesty...

But it's NOT on the board.... yes I'm being pedantic
Re: DFI introduces a credit card sized AMD Ryzen R1000 powered SBC
3.3 GHZ ....better than those celeron and Pentium thing from intel's shelf?
Re: DFI introduces a credit card sized AMD Ryzen R1000 powered SBC
Shame its only single channel memory, but I still want one!!
Re: DFI introduces a credit card sized AMD Ryzen R1000 powered SBC
This actually looks quite interesting. I want one ...NOW!
As for DFI, I didn't know they still existed.
Re: DFI introduces a credit card sized AMD Ryzen R1000 powered SBC
Looks quite neat but I'm worried about the price.
Did a quick search for the ALF51 and got a price range of $300-$700 depending on options, so the base unit is $300 for:
Fanless, Intel Atom® X5-E3940, LPDDR4 2GB on board, eMMC 32GB, 1 Mini DP++, 2 LAN, 1 COM, 3 USB, 0 to 60°C (770-ALF511-000G)
So it might be a neat bit of kit but very specialised, for similar money you could probably look at mini-itx and have much more options.
