This could actually tempt me to switch to iphones. Does it have a headphone jack?
GSM Arena spotted that China Telecom is listing the new iPhone SE as having 3GB of RAM and a 1,821mAh battery.
Touted as being a more manageable size?
With these ridiculous bezels it won't be any smaller than flagship phones from other manufacturers.
Apple is becoming a joke.
Built to tempt people with older iphones to stay with Apple. Simple as. Boring as hell as well just to make sure they stay on board
Old puter - still good enuff till I save some pennies!
I'm still using my 6s, not sure I could get rid of the home button so limits my iPhone upgrade options...
Affordable for an iphone with a lot of processing for the cost, though android phones for half the cost do have a better appearance and higher res screen. For Apple I'm not particularly keen on their walled in garden, but I'm also not keen on the lack of support android gets from both manufacturers and from Google themselves.
While 'cheap' for an iPhone I do kind of feel it's still overpriced in the UK. But to be fair it 'should' be cheap because apart from the processor side of things it's basically left over parts from the iPhone 8 being used, the case is so similar you can even use the same cases...
Current exchange rate makes $399 roughly £315 without VAT so add on 20% VAT and it's £378.... that's a difference of around £40 so realistically Apple could have hit the £399 price point in the UK, like the old one imo.

Actually, I'm tempted by this since I checkout the specs etc, nice upgrade from my 6s, £17 a month...
I am not buying one for many reasons (waiting on the Xperia 1 ii ), but this does remind me just how good iPhones used to look before they removed Touch ID and added a notch to the screen.
So much nicer than any other iPhone currently on sale from Apple.
Using a Google Pixel 1 , started with Android 7.1, now on Android 10 - 4 years of up-to-date OS, can't really complain
