hell yeah! I loved the original game - up until the Cyph came into it anyway. After that.. well, it wasn't ruined just like their team went completely off at a tangent that I didn't enjoy as much as the earlier areas.

Definitely buying even though I'm not on an RTX GPU. (4k/1080ti)

....actually, I think I may even dust off the original and give it another play while we're on lockdown. Be interesting to see how it looks/plays nowadays as Far Cry 3/4/5 took my attention away from the Crysis series. Never bothered with later versions of Cysis even though I bought them...

I'd like a remaster of the original Far Cry, okay the plot was a bit meh but it's was still amazing for it;s time and would look great in the latest cryengine. Shame it prob won;t happen since they sold the IP.

Looking forward to this, big fan of the first 2 games and replayed Crisis 1 last year...was still a lot of fun.

Happier times before the Ubi-clone open world games took over! Perfect mix of linear and freedom in that era imo.

The original game was massively CPU limited,so to see the game now on the latest version of CryEngine should hopefully mean more consistent performance.

With the new Dune movie coming out don't expect anything, the estate that controls Dune IP said no about selling Dune games on GoG. Funcom got the rights to make a Dune MMO... which will be bound to fail.

Freelancer is in the bowls of Microsoft, a shame really as it has an interesting setting but other than us old timers its long forgotten.

I was just thinking about Freelancer being remastered or there being a sequel. I've got the original DVD on my shelf as it's one of the few games I saved when I ditched most of my games and TV shows / films. I think the original took ages to make which is why the graphics were somewhat awful even for the time. It is one of the few games I've played more than 5 or 6 times and even now I'd go back to.
