All of those specs sound exactly the same as my LG 27GL850, except 165Hz instead of 144Hz. Same panel but overclocked, maybe?
If so, of course it's not really HDR, given the 350 nits luminance, and the 1ms claim is meaningless because of overshoot: you'll never use it on the Fastest setting for that reason. But if it is the same tech as my model, it's superb — extremely sharp on Fast, with no ghosting I can see.

120Hz+ 4k 32inch oled/IPS with good HDR for a fair price. why do manufacturers insist on pushing old or custom formats just get it done
Re: HP releases the Omen 27i Nano IPS 165Hz 2K monitor
meh, I want 4K and colour accuracy etc more than I want refresh rate these days.... give me that and 75-120hz refresh rate and I'd be happy.

I'll give this one a guess, they still make money?
Re: HP releases the Omen 27i Nano IPS 165Hz 2K monitor
Due to space I have to use a TV as my monitor and anyway there is no way I'd spend a large amount of money on a monitor even if I had the choice. I very rarely game and do not use a monitor for professional use so refresh rates and colour accuracy is not that important to me. One thing that bugs me looking at this as does my present Samsung TV / come monitor , having inputs / outputs on the back , bloody annoying. My previous LG TV had all those connections on the side so I could easily plug in USB sticks and headphones as when required.

Is that the controls on the back of the monitor (a joystick and power button)? If so not a great design in my opinion.

you're probably right but its bloody anhoying, its quite obvious where the demand from customers really is and its taking a very long time to get there. 4k has been with us for quite some time now, affordable 4k for a good 5yrs or more

I think DP on LG is 1.4a. Is it not?

It's probably more that the lower res panels are so much cheaper to make that they can mass produce more of them at a lower cost of goods, so the profits are much higher.
