Quick skim and the numbers look about where I'd guess.
Curious to see how it overclocks more than anything.
I am guessing that the last image is power consumption, Therefore i dont expect it to overclock much...
mehhh
Those power draw figures are pretty awful - 6 less cores and is nearly 30 watts more power consumption
Fine power usage @ idle but under load............
338w at full chat? I'm buying shares in EK watercooling. Even top-notch 280 AIO's will struggle with the heat...and Noctua etc, best get back to the drawing board.
Looks like they had to push it pretty hard to match the competition.
But hey! At least it's good at doing nothing :D
will it require a new motherboard?!?
Very deceiving that they title the slides in English, but leave the power draw slide.
They obviously score a lot higher in that slide too, which is what they want people to see, just a high score for Intel.
Overall, unimpressed, again.
The power draw results are odd, they're well over the Hexus results (especially at idle, almost 2x).
Taking more power than the (much faster) 3950X is expected, after all the 9900K already takes more power than the 3950X and this is just a 25% wider 9900K
The top line on that chart says "whole machine standby / full load power". The line below I'm struggling with as I don't speak Chinese but it looks like it's that the CPU load value in Watts, saying lower Watts is better.
Makes no sense to me as one says whole machine and one says CPU load.
Also an odd comment at the bottom saying the 3950X maxes out at 85C but doesn't mention the Intel chip.
