Intel are moving focus onto their higher performance processors, discontinuing some of their older Celerons.[Digit-Life]Late last week Intel informed on ceasing the production of 2.50~2.80 GHz Celeron CPUs made using 130nm process. Orders will be accepted until July 22, 2005, latest consignments shipping on March 24, 2006 (tray) and October 21, 2005 (box). As usual, the reason to stop the production was the shift to higher-performance solutions, however 2.50 GHz tray versions of these CPUs will be supported by Infrastructure Processor Division of the company.
