Cheaper than expected. Most BFDs are $5k+.

well cheap in my opinion - and it's got ambiglow (ambilight) a feature I love on one of the tv's in my house. Will look out for hands on reviews to see if it's actually any good

It mentions HDR1000 under key features so YES it's not the usual Mickey Mouse HDR400/600 you often get at that price point either. They might sell a few of these depending on what LG and Samsung can come up with.

but no hdmi 2.1 ? you'd think that would be in there for the future consoles coming in 6 months.

Re: Philips launches 55-inch 120Hz 4K gaming monitor

For the money I'd get an LG C9 OLED - no displayport, but 4k 120hz VRR and G-Sync support over HDMI 2.1.

Get all smart TV features built in as well.

Screen burn would be a concern if used primarily for desktop usage, but you can get them with a 5 or 6 year warranty depending where you buy from.

Haha... like even the most powerful of PCs could even imagine doing that... nevermind the new consoles

for that price you can get LG oled and have superior picture quality / motion and comparable input lag and refresh rate

It's a weird one for sure. You could potentially argue this is better as a gaming monitor than an equivalent LG due to no burn in risk but from a pure quality PoV, it's simply too close to call.

You can pick up a C9/CX not much different from this price and have:

    *OLED
    *G-Sync
    *Atmos(?)
    *HDMI-VRR
    *Dolby Vision, HDR10, HDR10+
Kalniel: "Nice review Tarinder - would it be possible to get a picture of the case when the components are installed (with the side off obviously)?"
CAT-THE-FIFTH: "The Antec 300 is a case which has an understated and clean appearance which many people like. Not everyone is into e-peen looking computers which look like a cross between the imagination of a hyperactive 10 year old and a Frog."
TKPeters: "Off to AVForum better Deal - £20+Vat for Free Shipping @ Scan"
for all intents it seems to be the same card minus some gays name on it and a shielded cover ? with OEM added to it - GoNz0.
