What are you looking forward to this year?

Of all the wonderful things we've seen launched recently, there must be something which excites you the most. Perhaps ATI's "SLI", or the next generation of graphics cards as a whole? What about dual core technology; does the prospect of SMP on a single package float your boat?

Whatever it is that you want to see hit the shelves, let us know. Even if you think others will find it boring, tell us and give us a reason why it's so important to you.

Personally, there are two things I am keeping a close eye on. First up, AMD's dual core technology. If I can drop a dual core into my existing rig I'll be a happy chappy. Secondly, and less specifically, I'm keeping an eye on the HTPC field. I think we're going to see yet more great things from the SFF manufacturers.

    So, what about you?

A very good one, although I think the biggest issue when they first ship will be software support.

    Lightbulb

    Dual Core Cpu
    Hot Swappable STUFF
    OLED Displays

    right now...
R480 Based ati with dual dvi outputs..
maybe tripple graphics card motherboard support. Something that allows two main gaming cards for some games and one agp or gfx express et al. for other games..and support for dual or multiple monitors. Agp and pci express equivalent for AMD top processors. Something that will use 2 at a time and possibly support the past agp card with a switch for whatever card(s) you want a program to use with HDTV support etc.
    Maybe agp is dead already?

AMD 64 FX-57 so I can afford the lower priced ones .

Hell just about anything would be exciting in comparison to the slow putt putt performance mhz/woo games 5%-30% increase bs the past two years has been.

64 os and game support, application support with perfect drivers and no bugs.
