Still Intel's "Best friend money can buy" then.
There are a couple of 4000 series gaming laptops on Dell's site, and the Alienware 3700X based machines if you can handle the styling, but all seems a token effort still.
no AMD options? Not v interesting then.
I'd reach for TFX if you needed to hacksaw one in.
In general lenovo prebuilts are far better than dells if you're looking to upgrade/service with standard parts, you can get luxuries like removable IO shields and standard form factor PSUs
Traditionally the power connector on the motherboard isn't ATX compliant either, so you'd need more than a hacksaw.
edit: taking a peep at the service manual reveals a single 6-pin and 2 4-pin connectors, so it's not ATX, and not Intel's new ATX12VO standard either. The 4-pin connectors aren't keyed to fit a normal EPS 12v.
There's a thriving cottage industry in adapters for proprietary prebuilt power ports on ebay - so long as it still uses 5v for standby and draws power from 12v then it's a simple conversion
