They really need to update that design. It's not changed in more than 10 years.

Uuuuuu.
Sadly i am not privileged to be allowed to own such marvelous hardware, so i must stay in PC with the plebs.
So, I just went to spec their new iMac on their US site.
That new screen with nano coating is optional. And that will cost you +500USD! The coating.
Top config will cost you 8799USD for 10cores Intel CPU, 128Gb, 16Gb Radeon 5700xt, 10Gb LAN,8Tb SSD and nano coating of the screen.
This is definitely going to workstation price range and I wonder if an Threadripper based one wouldn't be a better choice (condition being you are not locked into using Apple software).
The more you live, less you die. More you play, more you die. Isn't it great.

And how much just for one?
A 730p webcam - that' s a new resolution on me...
Old puter - still good enuff till I save some pennies!
I think we all know a threadripper based system would be better in many ways and deffo better value for money...
I've seen a fair few businesses that I know jumping ship recently. Just cannot justify the Apple tax any longer... and going ARM/Apple silicon just pushed them over the edge
