Back in February, ASUS's A8N SLI Deluxe and DFI's LanParty UT nF4 SLI-D locked horns in our test labs. Fast forward to today and HotHardware have three SLI motherboards battling it out. No ASUS board this time, but the DFI model is in there along with entried from MSI and Gigabyte.
Looking back at the results from our battery of benchmarks, its clear that the DFI LANParty NF4 SLI-DR was technically the "fastest" board in this round-up. Admittedly, its margins of victory in most tests were relatively small, but its consistent first-place finishes show that DFI's board was the best overall performer. The MSI K8N Neo4 Platinum/SLI and Gigabyte K8NXP-SLI performed similarly throughout our testing, which is to say they both performed very well, but they fell just shy of the pace set by the DFI LANParty NF4 SLI-DR.
