There is something pleasingly Star Trek about flip phones. Although to be honest, I'm a little surprised they're still making them, as they made a lot more sense before the existence of large-screened smartphones.

Something tall and wide is never going to be pocket-friendly, no matter how thin you make it. Flips have always been the best for that.
I'm all in favour of more foldy smartphones, as it means the tech will eventually improve to the point where it's really good.

    Aye, me too.

I think we'll look at a new technology in future and say "this made a lot more sense before we got folding screen phones".

Personally, I want a Google Glass alike, so I can be a glasshole and ignore people whilst watching TV and they won't know it.
