If you look at last the same quarter last year they had 2/3 gaming revenue and 65% margins. Turing was not as expensive to make as people thought. This means even the cheaper GPUs are made with a big margin. The only reason margins are down is because they made an huge acquisition of Mellanox earlier in the year, which also added 30% to their bottom line.

    Earnings have really amped up.
Kalniel: "Nice review Tarinder - would it be possible to get a picture of the case when the components are installed (with the side off obviously)?"
CAT-THE-FIFTH: "The Antec 300 is a case which has an understated and clean appearance which many people like. Not everyone is into e-peen looking computers which look like a cross between the imagination of a hyperactive 10 year old and a Frog."
TKPeters: "Off to AVForum better Deal - £20+Vat for Free Shipping @ Scan"
for all intents it seems to be the same card minus some gays name on it and a shielded cover ? with OEM added to it - GoNz0.

It will not be the price on gamer cards that will be half.

Gamers are like a person slowly exposed to stronger and stronger drugs, and now he are on fentanyl and he just want more no matter the price.

And it all started out with a puff on a joint.

I'm assuming by "large" second half, they're referring to the impact on our bank balance if we buy an Ampere card.

The time will soon come where gamers will play second fiddle to data center product.

Faster upgrade pace and more complex data center gpu:s will be prioritized.

Gamers will get down prioritized, get watered down gpu:s tech and updates every second or third update cycle compared to data center product.

This new bad trend will start when MCM-GPU:s (tile/module based gpu:s) enter the market.

It's been that case for a decade at least - gamers have been a cash cow, which allowed Nvidia to throw billions at subsidising Tegra, etc.Intel did exactly the same with PC users. So Nvidia thanks gamers very much for paying £800+ for GPUs,etc.

How so? AMD has been pretty successful pushing MCM into consumers before datacentre - they even skipped a generation in servers!

They're talking about the value of the second half of the financial year - the half is fixed but the value can be large, small , or anywhere in between.
