Yeah, for an IPS 1080 24" panel, that's just way too much these days.

    Lost me at

    Resolution: 1920 x 1080 pixels (FHD)
Not sure why they even bothered with this resolution.

Well it's not that weird if they still produce monitors with that resolution mainly. If a person cannot buy higher resolution panel, then how you can expect he will play 4k

Re: Gigabyte unveils Aorus FI25F SuperSpeed IPS gaming monitor

It actually makes sense, for pro gamers speed is more important than resolution. And it has a lot of gaming features, that normal monitor doesn't have, not only red lights and "gaming" name.

Only coz companies like this keep making 1080 monitors.

How many of the gamers out there are pro, though?
How many pro gamers buy their own kit, rather than getting it supplied by sponsors?
What good is speed, when GPUs are all about the 8K res, nowadays?

I don't have answers, I'm just prodding the topic for discussion.

Re: Gigabyte unveils Aorus FI25F SuperSpeed IPS gaming monitor

I just want a higher refresh rate, 60Hz is getting old now, I'd be happy with 1920x1080, the next step up is 2560x1440 if I do go..
