Chance would be a fine thing...LOL
Nope. I'd most likely go for the Xbox Series X if I considered it enough though.
No, I wouldn't know what to do with it!
Yes got one for my son, not on launch day though, was able to pre-order it from Argos a couple of days later
Jon
Neither, not yet, not untill got the variants with proper space in.... but by then I would buy an PS5 with a BD in it.
Got a PS5 for my son to play FIFA21. And for me, of course, but mainly for him. He was disappointed to only be able to play FIFA17 on our ancient PS3, so we waited until the 5 was out and I grabbed one from Amazon at 9am on launch day...
Never buy the first batch, of any kind of electronics.
Every time there is some thing that was oversee in the design and/or production.
Look at RTX 3080 cap problems.
Probably once version 1.1+ is out
The more you live, less you die. More you play, more you die. Isn't it great.
No.
I'm considering the possibilty of buying a PS5 at some point (after having stuck to PC-only for the previous console generation) mainly due to any exclusives that may catch my interest.
It's not guaranteed however, but if I do then I'm certainly in no rush to do so and especially not at launch. I'd also still be doing PC gaming regardless.
Absolutely,,,,,, not.
Last time i touched a console playstation 2 was the thing, and i dident play on it as i have always found those kind of controllers stupid.
And BTW when i play on the PC i have never used WASD, i have always used the arrow keys, CUZ thats how very special and snowflaky i am
No, and no chance I'll even be considering them.
Whilst I agree with the sentiment - that v1 issues are often resolved in future releases, it's somewhat far fetched to claim there are always issues.
I don't recall issues with my launch PS2, launch Xbox One or launch One X Scorpio Ed.
My Xbox 360 went the way of the RROD, but wasn't even the launch model(!).
I've ordered a launch day Series X from Game and I'm pleased to see the reviews suggesting it'll play well as a One X+ (4k, improved frame rates) until next gen content becomes available.
Of course, I'm counting on Game telling me they screwed up and I won't get it till 2021.
No I've never wanted a console and, am never likely to.
I had it in my basket on the Microsoft store but then thought 'why am I per-ordering something I don't need?' So I let it pass. I will buy a Series X sometime next year but my XboneX will serve me well until then. I did try to buy an Nvidia 3080 but that was a hoot!! I'll wait on an AMD 6900 and buy that if I can to replace my 5700XT.
I have a launch Playstation 3. It's still going strong, some 13 years on Plus it can do something the later PS3's cant: play PS2 games. Sometimes it's good to get in on the launch models, as later revisions may have cheaper/removed components, in order to shave costs.
Anyhoo, I did consider getting a launch PS5. But the pre-orders were already sold out, at this point. Will try and get one when stocks balance out.
Microsoft's issue was whilst you could get a Series X into your basket, it was impossible to checkout, presumably due to load on the back end.
I lucked out with Game, because I happened to access their website after they finally got it back online before the queue reformed (it was pretty much down from 8am till mid afternoon).
3080? Not a chance. I'll probably be rocking my 970 till January.
At least this way I'll get to see what AMD have to offer.
