Re: Ubisoft reveals Assassin's Creed: Valhalla PC system requirements
pmsl...'recommended' only gets 30fps at 1080p albeit at high preset... come on, the minimum for recommended should be 60fps at 1080p.
Re: Ubisoft reveals Assassin's Creed: Valhalla PC system requirements
I'm covered for Ultra then :D
LSG501, this game is too big and modern to cover that. you want 60FPS then you go Low setting. And even then you might not get it. It's more than just graphics, the game world with all the characters etc have an impact.
Re: Ubisoft reveals Assassin's Creed: Valhalla PC system requirements
Oh look, insane system specs for yet another incredibly average looking Ubisoft game..what a shocker!
Re: Ubisoft reveals Assassin's Creed: Valhalla PC system requirements
Maybe I'm just getting old but £100 for a game, wow...
Re: Ubisoft reveals Assassin's Creed: Valhalla PC system requirements
I will not insult my forefathers by playing this.
Re: Ubisoft reveals Assassin's Creed: Valhalla PC system requirements
Perhaps covering the cost of Far Cry 6 the reason AMD cheaped out on the 5600X heatsink.

I know, insanely cheap, right?
I presume there are loot boxes and in-game purchases, so they don't end up out of pocket....?
:p

"Here in the UK I can see that the likes of Box, CCL, Ebuyer, OC UK and Scan will have you covered."
Wouldn't count on it.
My purchase of CPU and GPU respectively, earning bonus games from Scan and Ebuyer were both reported by AMD as "already registered".
Seems like some of the aforementioned employees are earning themselves little bonuses at the expense of the customer.

I think you missed the point I was making....
RECOMMENDED specs are for 1080p at 30fps.... no 'gamer' wants to play a game at 30fps, recommended specs should have been the next step up.
Having said that I don't see that much reason for the high spec requirements either (like bagpuss), everything apart from the 'visuals' (which aren't that great imo) are also part of the older ac games.
Re: Ubisoft reveals Assassin's Creed: Valhalla PC system requirements
Is it capped at 60fps, I would be questioning game optimisation if I got any FPS below 85 personally.

Don't forget about season pass #2,3 and 4.
Re: Ubisoft reveals Assassin's Creed: Valhalla PC system requirements
Erm so they make a big thing using DX12, and do not utilise over half the features that DX12 gives, like DLSS, where is the logic , another cheaply coded ubisoft game.
Re: Ubisoft reveals Assassin's Creed: Valhalla PC system requirements
Not sure why they're listing 1440p as 2k resolution. 2k is a barely wider 1080p.
Re: Ubisoft reveals Assassin's Creed: Valhalla PC system requirements
Eh, 2080 S for 2K but 2080 for 4K?
Did they get that slightly mixed up?
