It's a huge surprise their lying and disinformation campaigns held the price for so long.

    This is only the beginning.

So true? But the only way for Intel is down.

They had an unbelievable monopoly, they can't take more market, they can only lose or maintain it.

Now they are unable to compete with AMD, not looking like they will be able to for some time either, it's a bleak future.

AMD constantly show they are back in form, the more they take, the more investors will leave (possibly buying up much cheaper and more promising AMD stock in it's place).

The effects will be like an avalanche, that was the main reason Intel were so aggressive and dishonest. Once that starts, they can't recover.

    That's the big one...
Will be so far behind it's unreal - I think TSMC will be on 3nm then (and I know it's not apples to apples)
Old puter - still good enuff till I save some pennies!

Its not surprising revenue is dropping as apparently data centre has been affected by the current world events. For a few months server sales were down globally until rebounding recently, but storage sales have dropped.

You clearly haven't got a clue as to what you are talking about. Share price isn't based purely on rumours, there are a lot of underlying fundamentals that are covered by analysts if you're unsure of how share prices are calculated to be at an expected level. Equally they've outperformed the wider industry on annual earnings growth over the last 5 years, which is expected to slow for Intel over the next 3 years (with a slight negative dip in annual revenue growth).

Also, I'd just like to point out that Intel shares currently trade for less than AMD shares (as of the 23/10/2020 $48.20 vs $81.96) (they gained parity around July this year!).

Who wants to bet it'll be a mobile CPU with 4 large cores... Who knows, maybe this time around it'll have 4 Atom cores alongside it!

Meanwhile TSMC are planning to hit HVM of their "2nm" node in 2023, which means they should already be deep into their 3nm node by the time Intel get their first 7nm product out. Based on how Intel's 10nm compares to TSMC 7nm, that means by then Intel will be a node-and-a-half behind. Owie.
