By entering a GPU Golden Age I'll assume he means GPUs will cost their weight in gold.

More gpu competition is bound to be good for the consumer.
    Right?

    Right?
Yeah, because Intel have always been the champion of the consumer

Ultimately, obviously not, but they do have very deep pockets so could afford to be disruptive for a while...
...However, dumping (or contra revenue as Intel likes to call it) only works if they can drive the competition out of the market which is unlikely. Still, if Raja has CEO ambitious and can use a contra revenue trick to make it appear that Intel Xe is doing very well, he might for it.

Re: Raja Koduri teases Intel Xe HP GPUs

My prediction is no drivers for win7/8 as the recent Intel network, LAN, wifi6 etc all only get win10 drivers. On that basis alone Xe is not for Me.

8-) Brilliant. No doubt they'll be as readily available in quantity as rare metals as well.

Don't give them ideas about pushing up prices even faster! They're already overpriced and too expensive as it is

To be fair, support for Windows Me ended a long time ago.

Raja Koduri could take a decent pic or ask someone to take or fotoshop it a little bit later. Waiting for light laptops with new GPUs!
