It's all fun and games until that liquid nitrogen tank ruptures and the coolant spills off of your desk into your lap - brings tears to the eyes just thinking about it.
IDD.
I am familiar with gas accidents
As a kid 16 yo working the fork lift was acting up, so i wanted to change the bottle on it, but had forgotten to close it so i just unscrewed the hose.
Got a good spray and the stuff was stinging,,,,,, best of all just before i had thrown my cigarette into the oil under the 60 ton hydraulic press, so no fire at least.
Lucky i never had any accident on the 200 M or so product tankers i have worked, that could have turned nasty pretty fast with 10 or so Olympic sized swimming pools of gasoline.
Okay once on a smaller product tanker a flange had not been installed right so then the pressure came up there was a spray of,,,,,,, ( something nasty that boil around 10 deg C ) stripped the paint right off the deck of the ship.
And it was only seconds before the EMG stop kicked in, and cant have been all that many liters of the stuff.
O BTW that was not on my watch and not my flange job, i just saw the aftermath.
