500gb Samsung 860 evo for £53. Will clone it on to my ageing lenovo laptop.
A Christmas Hamper for my Mum!
Pretty much dropped the ball this black friday. People were buying left and right at best buy. TV's flying off the shelves.
Nothing and I never do. Its a massive media hyped con. If you do your research and shop round you can find similar deals through out the year. I fully appreciate that its been a very hard year this year for the retail sector but its still not an incentive to buy for me.
A PS5, Xbox series X, 6800 XT, 3080 and all the 5000 series processors i could eat. Alternatively 2 packs of beer![]()
Where from, for how much? Keeping my eye out but don't want to pay more then RRP which is £280 (and some places like curries pc world do sell them at that price theoretically). Everywhere I saw was either massively overpriced, sold by some dodgy unknown website, or just out of stock.
my prediction is a little wait will be your friend. Frustrating but give it time. I went through this with cpus last year. Amazon suddenly got a glut in mid Dec. Trick is to keep checking frequently and don't hesitate once they're in
Nothing tracked several items including a mobile phone. Some prices on Amazon were actually were expensive than on Prime Day about six weeks ago and I couldn't buy on Prime day as went out of stock with a few hours.
John Lewis had one item properly reduced but out of stock with a few hours sadly before I had purchased. Curry's were a bit cheaper on two of the items but not enough to panic me into buying.
A total damp squib, won't ever waste my time on this again.
Oddly some perfume for the wife which wasn't in the black Friday offers at Amazon. Must have been a price match as it was down almost 15% from the long term price (use Keepa plugin people!). Otherwise nothing. It really is getting more and more rubbish. It just seems to be designed to flog stuff off they can't sell that was artificially raised in price a month ago.
I got a pair of CA Melomania earbuds that I've been looking at for a while, £20 less than the lowest I'd seen and using a voucher.
Also bagged the Back to the Future 4k box set for 20% off. Which was nice.
I found a good deal on a bottle of plonk,to match the floor mat I bought.
I have never bought anything on Black Friday before but I got a 55' Samsung Q80T VRR 4k TV this year. Saved over 40%
