I did not expect the X1 core to show up in this. It makes sense given the prime stuff they've done in previous gens, but it still surprises me to have 3 different core designs in the same die (including the A55 for the umpteenth time).

I wonder if we'll see the X1 in 7XX chipsets, or if it's a 8XX thing only?

Im amazed the already killer ISP have gotten a upgrade too, i would like more info on that part.
It will be 2-3 years before a 888 phone are at a price level i would consider for a phone.

I was going to wait for the 2021 flagship phones but after the rumours of a big price increase for the new snapdragon flagship processor i decided to go for the Sony Xperia 5 II at £599 and I am very pleased with it.
