I don't think there is really a huge amount of wiggle available in the clocks for the GPU (well, boost clocks that have been crashing cards, until limited by the updates). Not unless the Ti variant is produced on TSMC or they refine the Samsung process a bit more / really bin the chips. Doubling the RAM is a cheap way of creating the Ti and I wouldn't be surprised to see Nvidia do this to match / outdo AMD on RAM, while charging extra. I doubt it'll make much difference to performance though?
No, the bots completely bypass the whole lot and go straight to checkout.
Possible. It'll be interesting to see how they actually do increase the RAM.
Do the original cards usually drop in price once the Ti variants come out? Whether that be FE or AIB cards. Thanks.
You would think so but with stock being so low I would doubt they would drop by much if anything

Heh, you gotta wait another two months before you can't buy one.
Before you judge a man, walk a mile in his shoes; after that, who cares?! He's a mile away and you've got his shoes!
I'm currently trying to get my hands on a 3080 but it seems it might be worth waiting for the ti. That extra vram will be nice to have in the long run
