CPU: i5-7600k to 5800X (at RRP - pure fluke).
mobo: Maximus IX Code to X570 Unify
RAM: Corsair Plat 3000MHz C15 to T-Force 3600MHz C14
Plus the matching AM4 waterblock, and some water loop bits and bobs.
Bought a KFA2 SG 3090 and a Ryzen 7 3800x which will arrive in a couple of days. Nice.
Nothing but i really should upgrade soon as my rig is going to be 11 years old soon
I was lucky enough to get a 5800X, but that someone else picked it up for me from a Microcenter, and it's been waiting for a week or two for me to install. I also got an MSI RTX 2080 Seahawk early in the year. Can't wait to get it running with the new CPU!
Just a new mouse. Replaced my Logitech wireless M705 with a wired G502SE when it was on sale, pretty much just because I was annoyed the batteries only lasted a few months at a time Still haven't mapped any of the macro buttons. And I'll still have the M705 in the laptop bag, in the After Time.
I managed to get a 5600x and a 3060ti. I'm coming from a 2600 and a 590 so it's a pretty big upgrade
I got a 1080p monitor for my peasant gaming potato.
Upgrade from a 1600 on a b350 to a 5600x on a b550. Although that was pretty much forced as my processor died
However I have upgraded my monitor from a 32inch 1080p one that's almost 10 years old to a iiyyama gb3466wsqu 34 inch ultrawide 144hz monitor which has been an amazing upgrade, even if the freesync won't play nicely!!
Two, upgraded my AIO from a Corsair H80i to EVGA CLC240 and upgraded my Gigabyte Aorus GTX 1080 Ti to a PNY Revel RTX 3090. The 3090 handles Cyberpunk 2077 exactly as hoped.
Spoiled myself with SSDs to replace HDDs - they're only used for backups, but they were just too slow and I was too impatient.
PCIe usb 3.0 adapter.
Rads, fans, fan controller, CPU block, pump-res, tubing, fittings, RGB controller, monitor RGB and controller, case RGB... possibly also CPU, motherboard and RAM, too. I'd have to check the dates.
In short, quite a lot more than I usually would, but I was buying into a completely new ecosystem with a great many awesome features, so I splashed out big time and am now the envy of my fellow SysBuilders!

Due to this upgrade, my 1070ti was not performing as well as it did on a 1080p monitor. By some act of God I managed to get a 3080 FE without stressing, just got an @everyone ping on a stock tracker discord and my ninja reflexes let me pick it up for MSRP!
Last upgrade for the year will probably be a Fractal Meshify 2 case.
Pre-enjoyed de-lidded i9-7980XE at decent price in fleabay. Logitech Brio without getting gouged.
