Ouch...
Consoles expected to form the bulk of sales, despite the recommended (and real-world findings) specs being pretty high even for PCs?
Hmmm....

Might as well wait for a fixed next gen version (I have a Series X). Got to be honest buying games at release now is just glorified beta testing!

I doubt console will be the bulk of sales, even pre orders were 60% PC. Whilst CDPR have a lot to answer for and rightly deserve some of the negative press, it all seems a bit aggressive like they are being kicked whilst they are down. As a fan of the game I just hope they can do a "no mans sky" and turn this around, I have not had much issue with it on PC and I can see that whilst it needs more time in the oven, they have laid down the groundwork for one of the best games ever made, they just need to get to work finishing this game and quickly so that when the PS5 and series X version release, some dignity can be saved.
The 1.05 patch did improve things a bit for me

Such a shame, but it's what happens if you drop buggy mess, especially after hyping so much.
I hope it doesn't deter them (or other devs even), projects like this are the only ones I can find any joy in, most games seem boring and generic (mostly).
Like you I've been rather enjoying it to be honest with very few issues (admittedly I'm only playing at 1920x1200 on ultra but real world spending on my car(s) means coughing up for a new screen has to go on the back burner for now), only two which forced me to do a hard reset of my machine (and they've been patched now) and a few graphical glitches (like T posing going under the odd bridge).
Fix it? I think so, they turned Witcher 3 around, by all accounts it was a right dog on release (I got it a few years down the line with all the DLC and things fixed) but has turned into one of the genre's defining games and I can't see why they won't do it with this. The difference between the two though is hype, the game that is Witcher 3, on release didn't have the same level of expectation, as Witcher 3 is now though probably made things worse and elevated the hype for Cyberpunk 2077.
Yes it has it's issues but the latest patch has improved things, load speed alone has shot up, I've experienced fewer glitches (though there is a one gig, 8ug8bear, that doesn't work for me) and I'm actually looking forward to seeing how the game evolves as it matures.
I do think the car/bike physics are absolutely pants

Wow...investors want to sue?? Isn't the point of investing "taking a gamble"...
In other news, I'm going to sue Sky Bet as I didn't make as much money as I wanted...
I never intended to buy on release anyway, as I fully expected plenty of bugs, as Witcher 3 took a good 6 months or so to sort out, and that is now a masterpiece. I expect the same will happen with Cyberpunk 2077, and I shall still get it around several months from now....afterall, alot of all the people I speak to say that it's a great game under all the bugs. If the investors had any sense, they'd just wait it out, and reap the rewards later, instead of trying to break the company before it has a chance to fix stuff.
I won't be buying it. Not because I don't want to. Can't get the hardware![]()
The problem of designing a massive game with few employees.......BUGS. The best route to take is designing a small section of town (open world) to perfection then later updates with expansion packs.
Welcome to modern capitalism! Why wait 12 months for a $100 profit when you can make $50 dollar now. All business is short termism now. Its never about the long term outlook. These investors have probably already sold their shares at a deliberate loss so they can make even more suing.
CAT-THE-FIFTH (23-12-2020)
They built up a lot of goodwill over the years and then they threw it off the cliff because of greed. CDPR is gonna have to do a lot more...
The game needed at least a whole year.
