That's a good result, thankfully.
Well, knowing how ruthless Apple is, maybe they were still pondering buying the company or poaching their employees if the lawsuit had gone their way?Accused Corellium of copyright violation but it pondered buying the company in 2018.
Apple do have form for this, just ask Imagination Technologies.
And people still buy Apple products.
Sounds like standard Apple practice tbh, they want something, they try and buy it, and then if that doesn't work they try to squash it.
IIRC there was a company that made something for Apple a few years back, Apple accounted that they were no longer using that company, and as Apple was that companies main source of income (their fault tbf, eggs and baskets etc), share prices fell through the floor, Apple then acquired them, or at least tried too..
Shady AF, and I know its not just them tbh, just so this doesn't come out as an anti-Apple thing...
I think all big companies to some degree act in deplorable fashion and some think they untouchable. Apple is a prime example but look at Intels past behaviour, Google and Amazon, the list goes on. Way of the world as it is now ,companies are bigger and throw more weight or money around to get their way.
Apple may risk a forced sell out as well, due to competetion, as what in happens with Facebook.
Apple are absolutely stunning and a clear indicator if much that is wrong with the world.
The amount of illegal activity, it's like all the big corporations have a pool running for who can get away scot free with the most.
Stealing from thise who can least afford it too.
I wonder how much Apple spent pursuing the case versus the differences in valuation when it tried to buy them in 2018?
Apple will find a way how to receive access to this company, a matter of time and money.
Apple and IBM have one thing in common......destined to fail eventually.
I don't see them going anywhere soon as many of the normies love apple products no matter how much they cost.
I've never bought an Apple product in my life and never plan to. I make sure my parents and family don't either. If they can't support fair use of all of their products then no one should support them either. This has been a key problem in all of their products throughout Apple history.
