Re: AMD briefly passes Intel in desktop CPU market share

After all the underhanded practices and nickle-and-dime schemes of Intel, I'm glad AMD is dishing it out good on Intel. Let's just hope that Intel gets its brains together and make good quality products, and that AMD doesn't do the unfair things that Intel did.

These modern chips take some getting used to in that regard. If you cool it better then it will just boost higher and then you are back at 90C, albeit at higher performance.

Supplies of any pc components is tight at the moment...

Still finding webcams hard to get at close to RRP and if they come into stock they are gone within hours

Nope just a note about net income. As in Intel 2018/2019 both hit 21B NET INCOME, while AMD hit 660mil TTM (well, didn't recheck for new TTM with this Q, but close enough). It will be a few weeks before we know Intel full 2020, but it won't be 660mil even for a Q.

Wake me when AMD makes 1B+ NET INCOME like Q4 2009, which they haven't done since not even for a YEAR, so...Intel's game plan is fine, AMD wasted 3yrs without making money while winning and that is about over. Either Intels fabs fix their own issues, or Q1 TSMC starts making Intel cpus, so end of year, AMD done. Intel can pay more for wafers than AMD until AMD sucks again. See the point? Not quite sure who or why people keep shoving AMD up with Intel actually SAYING they are doing this Q1 or not and also state their 7nm fix is in place and looking good. So, in 3 months either TSMC wafers start drying up for AMD or Intel is back in decent fab shape soonish, not to mention 3-4 packaging types cooking up new ways to make chips also on top (or covering until then, like big little crap etc). Intel has many ways to skin a cat here

Intel bled 4B+ on mobile for 5yrs which is what got them to FAB suck land since (if that had been in fabs, 7nm fine 3yrs ago, and 10nm on time!). That is over now, but you can see they can easily do it again to down AMD, and with less than 1B income yearly WTH do you think AMD can do about it either way? Intel can pay more for TSMC wafers, and packaging at Intel is about a year or more ahead of TSMC already so a fixed 7nm and some packaging tricks and this year is already far more interesting than anyone is guessing it seems. Why so much faith in AMD's ability to buy wafers vs. Intel? Apple always at the front...Guess why. $$$ Largest check gets best chips first. Apple has been buying more wafers of many things than they need for ages (supply chain warfare is Cook's thing - forcing others into lower grade stuff his thing too - smart).

Anyone thinking Intel is out, is well, out of their freaking mind. Not saying AMD has a bad chip, just that they should have made money on them for the last 3yrs instead of skipping that part. How long do you think Intel can F up with 20B a year to just piss away if needed? A simple 10-15% price cut across their line would make AMD hard to sell and kill what small INCOME they already have. Again, many ways to skin this cat, and it isn't like Intel hasn't been here before with AMD I was a reseller last time this happened, and all it took was $$$ and some cheating and 10yrs later Intel makes 60B NET while AMD reaps a 1.5B check. STUPID IDIOTS settled. Worst case if I'm Intel, I just cheat again and pay you 1.5B (heck, 10B) 10yrs from now when you settle again after I keep you down and make a MINT while doing it. Just saying people...No reason NOT to cheat when you make ~58.5B and pay 1.5B fines every decade. I'd do it again, and again, and...Business is war. PERIOD.

It's like stealing the election. They've been doing it for ages in USA with machines. Now you caught them but refuse to stop them. If trump doesn't put them all to death with military tribunals, you will get Georgia results forever. IE, just like Nov 3, reps winning all night up 3-4 pts all night until...stop counting, wake up hours later, boom dems win again...surprise...Machines (well, and fake ballots). You either deal with these machines now and all the traitors who pushed them (with foreign help), or forget USA forever.

For anyone hoping Trump fails. I hope you like being in a china slave camp for life. USA=FREEDOM, CHINA=SLAVERY, communism, and worse. Ever dream of being rich? Not if USA fails...LOL. Just ask Jack Ma, even billionaires can disappear in China land. The spy involved with Bidens deal for 1.5B? Gone too...LOL. At some point if we fail, YOU are next on their list. MILITARY TRIBUNALS NOW TRUMP! The entire world knows this was stolen in literally EVERY way they could steal it. It's on tape in many cases for crying out loud and still the traitors do nothing...At least EVERYONE in USA knows WHO the traitors are now. We have been sold out by almost then entire party on both sides CLEARLY.

Tribunals, or this will end in a small civil war soon. USA won't let the steal happen without pulling a gun, especially when the side with all the guns, is the one that got ripped off here. I'd say civil war likely starts Jan21 if Biden gets anywhere near the office. When well over 1/2 the USA knows it was stolen (30% dems even?), it will be Deep state/antifa/blm vs. the rest of USA and that will end quickly IMHO. It might have been different if people didn't see the steal happen live on TV for weeks...LOL. You might have got the REAL civil war the deep state wanted (to get their reset!), but instead, you overplayed your hand, and will be alone in the streets vs. patriots ONLY. The dem side will sit it out knowing all the evidence piling up still daily.

Jeez, Lin Wood is now tweeting about Roberts being corrupt (2 times to epstein island maybe? and bad decisions since 2010 because of it?). A defamation lawyer doesn't call you a pedo basically, without having something to back it up. Things make far more sense since trump hit office We certainly know far more about our corrupt govt than we did 4yrs ago...ROFLMAO.

People thinking USA will let trump lose are smoking crack. Note trump said smooth transition coming, but not that it was for BIDEN...ROFL. Note Sec of State said the same thing, smooth transition into trump 2nd term. Court route exhausted, time for military route and 2018 exec order etc.

My thoughts exactly. That's now the second person I've blocked on here, and both in the last few days (no prizes for guessing the other one if you were following the 3000 series Founders Edition thread) as neither seems to have anything positive or sensible to contribute.

If they had more CPU's made, in stock and the prices were not soo inflated, their market share will be over Intel rather than just over.

AMD now just need their server and workstation side to catch up with OEMs.
