I have to admit I have my reservations about execution, but we can hope for more competition and capacity in the price-creeping GPU market right?

They have obviously been tight-lipped about release dates to avoid accusations of delays, but weren't we supposed to have seen something by now?

I don't think I had heard of him before now myself, but I'll certainly be interested to see how Intel evolves with him at the helm.

'Kicking' Pat. Most positive Intel-related news I've seen for a long while. It'll be interested to see what he can do to whip the company back into fighting shape.

I believe that over a variety of games the 5600X is slightly worse than the i9 10900K while the other ryzen 5000 SKUs top Intel. Intel are going to pip AMD with their 11th gen stuff but at the cost of more power consumption.

Not necessarily, early leaks are based on very very cherry picked obscure benchmarks that make you question just how good the Intel CPUs really are. Time will tell

Yeah from the benchmarks I saw it seemed to be a case of "new Intel CPUs are slightly ahead of AMD on some games they already had an advantage in!"
