Why is it described as 2k? 2k is just an ever so slightly wider 1080p.

Do they do a non-RGB lighting version? Then I can convince the missus it’s a serious monitor for work!

2k is another term for 1440p, along with QHD. It's 2560x1440.

DCI 2k (an actual standard) is 2048x1080. Calling this 2k is an absolute nonsense.

Fair point, but since when have marketeers cared about standards :p

But being wrong and rounding down is just odd.

+1 to the odd use of "2K" to describe a 1440p panel. Aside from anything else it potentially puts buyers off due to the risk of assuming it's actually 1080. That said, having used 27" 1440p for however long I'm not sure I'd be quite so keen on 32" at the same resolution. When it's possible to do such a thing, I might go to a shop and look at one tho.

They do. It's the same product with the RGB turned off. Show her a photo of the front. And make sure she's out when it arrives so you can whip it out and set the appropriate menu option. Simples. ;)

Knock a few quid off and ditch that bloody waste-of-cash RGB nonsense and you can colour me interested.
