Especially with the PRC sniffing around Taiwan's doorstep...
The way PRC throw its weight around, i would not invest in anything near there.
Whilst I would agree that China can't be trusted, invading/annexing Taiwan would, I think, be a step to far even for China. The consequences for their international trade would be dire and they know it.
Poland was seen as a step too far. It may be a step too far for now, but they're slowly pushing further and further.Quote:

Taiwan is a strategic crown jewel, precisely for TSMC (and a tonne of other high-tech manufacturing). The faster Samsung gets their **** together, and TSMC starts building their newest fabs in the US and other countries, the better.
