I think as long as faults are within an expected tolerance level, there isn't much to complain about. There is always going to be the bad batch every now and then, even with all the QC testing there are going to be duds that slip through.

Interesting HUB did a reader survey and about 10% of the Zen3 owners who replied had problems. It makes me wonder whether Zen3 is much looser binned,and these issus might relate to cooling,and why AMD hasn't bothered with supplying a cooler for most models.

With my experience with about 10 CPU's I've bought over the years I've never had an issue. I've had an issue with RAM though. This does feel a little suspect with Intel's new chips coming out soon. My 3600 has been great. Hits its clocks very easily with just the slightly better AMD cooler (It was £13 for a wraith prism which seemed like a decent upgrade over the free one.)

only had the 1 ryzen 5 myself which is working great, but known a couple 5600x issues crop up so far from others
