3600
3000 Mhz
16GB DDR3 2400MHz CL11. Was quite a lot better than first-gen DDR4 <3000MHz memory.
1600
16GB @ 2133MHz... does the job still. Not too fussed about overclocking etc.
Bottlenecks on my system seem to be CPU when rendering videos, and GPU when gaming. 1 game with a memory leak did crash my system 3 years ago when my system was new, but the rest worked. The same game worked fine a year later. So still not found a need to upgrade to 32GB or more. And last I heard, getting faster memory doesn't affect anything I use my PC for.
Still running DDR 3 @ 1600
Enough for 1080P gaming given I have 12Gb in my system. System is managing Nioh 2 fine and anything else newer I have
Ludricrous speed!
3600MHZ CL14 (B-Die) Gaming PC & 3600MHz CL16 (Hynix) HTPC. I do have some 2400MHz CL10 DDR3 & 600MHz CL2 DDR1 in older systems.
64gb 3200Mhz corsair running at 3600mhz.
3800MHz. I bought two 16GB 4000MHz Patriot Blackout kits, the SKU of which quickly disappeared (all the B-die used for Viper Steel?) and run them at 3800 for Zen 2. They've refused my attempts to lower timings beyond the CL16-17-17-34 1T I set, yet remain perfectly stable like this.
My gaming PC - DDR4 1600
My work PC - DDR3 1600
