No. Would like a 3060 Ti, choice of three models due to case size restrictions. Not a whiff of any of them. The MSI Aero ITX isn't even listed anywhere that I can find.
Not prepared to go to the bother of bots, discord alerts etc. because why the hell should I?
Spent my upgrade money on some Technic Lego instead and having a lot more fun as a consequence.

Just about, took a couple of months to catch one but did eventually get the 3080fe I was after.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!
No.

I half upgraded my system in 2018,but it was done as an emergency purchase so didn't have all the money in place to get what I wanted. Hence in 2020,I was hoping to get the rest of it in place.
In terms of CPU upgrades - yes and no. I got a Ryzen 7 3700X,as the Ryzen 5 5600X was much more expensive, and the Ryzen 7 5800X was even more stupidly priced at the time. The lack of a Ryzen 5 5600 non-X didn't help. Looks like all my annoyance at B450 not initially being compatible with Zen3 was for nought. Zen3 didn't make much sense in price/performance for me.
In terms of RAM upgrades - yes and no. Wanted a Micron E-die 3600C16 32GB kit,and in the end stupidly waited for Black Friday and the kits vanished. Instead managed to get a reasonably priced 32GB Hynix C-die kit with relatively loose timings, which I have managed to tighten up.
In terms of new case - yes and no. I was looking at importing a mini-ITX case as a replacement for my £14 temporary special(much cheaper than some of the rip-off prices for the nicer ones here),but everything has gotten a bit screwed up,so didn't bother. Its starting to fall apart slightly now,but some tape fixed that. Found a case for my other system as that was ancient.
In terms of PSU - managed to find a good deal on one.
In terms of GPU - nope. I had to run CB2077 at cinematic settings and FPS. Good thing years of Fallout 4 playing have gotten me used to under 60FPS(in my case 30FPS).
At least I got all of the parts for good prices!

The closest I've really got to upgrades has been adding hard drives via shucking externals, when they've been on offer a couple of times, and I had no difficulties in buying those.
I did decide to add another powerline networking kit recently, which seemed to be out of stock, which I attributed to being due to the pandemic, but having a check of the manufacturer's own site today, it appears that they have marked that particular model as End of Life.
Oddly, the Passthrough variation of that model isn't EOL and is available, so seemingly means the pandemic has had no effect on it after all.
I am so very happy that I jumped to my 3950X build a year ago, as I'd hate to think of how much more it would cost me and how difficult it would be if I were to attempt it in more recent times.
Yes got an AMD 5600x snd a Asus b550-xe plus a powercolor RX6800 XT.
Yep! Full aorus build on 5600X... except for the gpu (currently using a 960). I want an aorus 6700XT when they come out but I highly doubt it will fit in my silly case. Really frustrating lol.
I've been lucky throughout.
Got my Series X by being in the right place on launch day to catch Game's website coming back live after being down for most of the day.
Got a 3080FE when they came available in the week before Christmas (biggest card that fits my itx case).
Got a 5600X when scan had big stocks over Christmas.
An open box, but unused B550 motherboard from Amazon warehouse.
A Corsair 750W SFX power supply.
It's definitely not been easy, but a lot easier than it's become since 2021 arrived. I have a friend trying to build a new rig: He's given up and ordered a 2070 Super in a pre-built.
Well...
...the number items I wanted to buy is equal to the number of items I bought.
Since both numbers are zero, this might not count though.
I upgraded to a 3700X and 5700XT in August; they offered the performance I was looking for at the price point I was happy with. There wasn't enough value proposition, for me personally, in terms of waiting for the next release (I'm not driving 4K nor do I generally play shiny shiny A-list titles). In hindsight, I appear to have lucked out!
I moved from an i7 860 and a GTX950 (which had replaced a GTX280 which died catastrophically)
Been waiting for 3 weeks to get a i3-10100f... Out of stock...even though it was in stock when I ordered.
Was there browsing several sites on release for both the regular AMD 6800XT and the partner model 6800XTs, if any were available they were gone instantly for me, and since that happened the price jacked up from 750 to essentially a grand. It already would've been twice the cost of my most expensive part ever, without that, so I bailed. Even now you can't get one at these prices.
Got a second hand RX 5700XT (which was a fine upgrade anyway) from a friend and broke my motherboard doing it. Wild.
After waiting weeks for stock and finally managing to get a 3070 at the end of last year, it died after 2 weeks. The RMA replacement never worked properly from day one either. Sent it back for a full refund and will try again later in the year when prices arent absolutely ridiculous.
