Re: QOTW: What do you score in Cinebench Release 23?
I can't believe I'm on the top of the 5800x chart still! And I'm using the first bios for the Strix b550-e that supports this CPU, all the others are major unstable for me, still the odd random restart not underload. So weird as it can go week's without doing it.

Re: QOTW: What do you score in Cinebench Release 23?
hi folks - I think this thread has largely run its course but I'll do one more update this weekend so if anyone else wants adding to the charts along with output's 3950x score pop your details in a response by 1pm Saturday (or at least message you're intending to add details so I know to wait).

Re: QOTW: What do you score in Cinebench Release 23?
Final chart updates (v0.7). It looks like we managed to get a good range of 3000 and 5000 series ryzen CPUs on there between us all. Thanks everyone who chipped in.

One small error to point out, you seem to have typo'd my CPU as i9.

Re: QOTW: What do you score in Cinebench Release 23?
Hi everyone, it's been a while now and a couple of generations of new processors are now thriving in the realworld. Time to update these charts if people are up for it.
Please send in your scores and I'll compile in a few weeks.Direct link to offline zips (they call them installers - they aren't you just unzip them):
PC
Mac
Techpowerup also have links to the R15 (win7+10 and last version with openGL test) and R20 (win7+10 and basiclly same as R23 but with different score rating - roughly a 2.58x multiplier to get from R20 to R23 scoring if you have old R20 test results) Since R23 won't work in win7 (or at least it wouldn't when I tried) run R20 (same test image) and use the multiplier.
Remember to go to settings/prefences -> advanced, so it shows both the multi core and single thread options, and then to run both.
Also remember to state your CPU and mobo, and wider specs like RAM, cooler, which OS etc.
Screenshots of the scores would be useful too please. Do keep them to thumbnail size using links to hosting sites like imgbb etc

Re: QOTW: What do you score in Cinebench Release 23?
I will do it in the next couple of days
-
Re: QOTW: What do you score in Cinebench Release 23?
Why not. I've not actually run any benchmark on new system.
I'll do mine towards the end of the week, currently dog sitting.
-
Re: QOTW: What do you score in Cinebench Release 23?
yeah no rush, I won't do anything with it for a few weeks yet.
-
Re: QOTW: What do you score in Cinebench Release 23?
Here we go then:
Single core: 1584
Multi core: 25088
MP Ratio: 15.84 x
System Spec:
CPU: Ryzen 9 5950X - Stock Clocked: 3.4Ghz - Stepping: 0 - Revision: B0
Motherboard: MSI MEG X570S ACE MAX - BIOS: 1.50 / 7D50v15
Cooling: Arctic Liquid Freezer II 360 AIO
RAM: Corsair Vengeance RGB PRO DDR4 3600MHz 64GB / CMW32GX4M2Z3600C18
OS: Windows 11 Pro 22H2
P.S. I didnt need to go to Advanced on this version. It showed both Single & Multi core regardless of selecting Advanced.
Advanced only gave me one other option, "Minimum Test Duration"

I forgot about it and now Cinebench 24 is out.
I am currently in the middle of a new build so will test it out a bit later in the week and post back

Re: QOTW: What do you score in Cinebench Release 23?
Just a recommendation before running this test. I found it beneficial to close all software especially those running in the background/notification area as well as many services as possible. I found this software to be very sensitive to other applications running. I'll have a go with this tomorrow whilst the car is off the road.

Re: QOTW: What do you score in Cinebench Release 23?
R24
Ryzen 5600 (mild OC)
B450 mobo
2x8GB 3466MT/s CL18
Single: 95
Multi: 664
This prompted me to spend a little time with Ryzen master so it's now a little faster with a teeny bit less voltage

Re: QOTW: What do you score in Cinebench Release 23?
Please can people say if these are the same rigs they tested R23 on and if it's not can they also post R23 values? Maxon say R24 is approx 6x more intensive on multicore. I would like to see if that tracks across and what it looks like on single core too.
If you don't already have it saved R23 is downloadable from techspot, guru3D and similar sites.

Re: QOTW: What do you score in Cinebench Release 23?
EDIT: Now ran with same settings
5600
CO offset, +200 boost override
3600MT/S CL18
R23
Single 1,532
Multi 11,829
R24
Single 95
Multi 675
Seems like scores don't align to 6x

Mine was exactly the same system. I had both R23 and R24 installed and ran one after the other
