It'd be good to see the later instalments of God of War on PC.
Give me Spiderman plz
Rather have 1-4 instead of just 4. At least it's something. Weird choice to start at 4 though. Hopefully 1-3 comes later.
After exhausting sales on their consoles, Sony ports their exclusives to other platforms to maximize their sales. This is genius in comparison to what Microsoft is doing. Microsoft releases their games on both their consoles and PC at the same time, thereby killing any point of owning one of their consoles.
I'm glad Sony is porting their games to PC. Now more gamers can jump in and enjoy
Good news. I have zero interest in owning a PS4 or PS5, so it's great that I can finally play some of the better games on that platform without spending money on a console just for one or two games.
I do wish they took the MS approach of releasing them at the same time and eroding the outdated exclusivity approach, but is not likely to happen sadly.
Still all good in the end. Really enjoyed Horizon and currently working through Days Gone - will be great to finally be able to play Drake too
Not really. Microsoft don't really care if you buy on console or PC or wherever. They just want you to buy the game or better yet subscribe to game pass. I subscribed to game pass for PC and enjoyed it so much I got a series X... Microsoft know longer term the console is dead and just want subscribers tied up in their ecosystem.
Personally pleased this is being ported as it was only remaining reason to buy a PS4 (I played 1-3 on PS3).
Then why bother making an expensive console? Consoles always sell at a loss during launch, and they make up for this in the future when the manufacturing costs for the console goes down and when the console has more video games, online transactions etc. Microsoft had an ~4 billion dollar loss with the original Xbox, and no console of theirs after made a profit in terms of hardware.

So if they are just using this to get more people to get aboard Xbox Game Pass, why bleed through so much money? I bought the Ultimate Edition Xbox Game Pass for my friend a few days ago and I saw the entire library - it's tiny. I don't know if it's a regional thing (I'm in India) but the library was very tiny.
The library in the UK is over a hundred titles on xbox and similar number on PC and while some is filler most is not. Some good examples are all the yakuza games. Microsoft know without a console they don't have a foothold but it's not the longer term plan. Just look at all deals with Samsung phones/tablets bundling game pass.
