lets hope they get a good anti cheat program built in ..
What does it matter now if men believe or no?
What is to come will come. And soon you too will stand aside,
To murmur in pity that my words were true
    (Cassandra, in Agamemnon by Aeschylus)

To see the wizard one must look behind the curtain ....

Battlefield England Manager. Following the debacle of England's Euro 2020 campaign slog it out with other managerial hopefuls to become the undisputed England manager for world cup 2022 and access the Qatar DLC pack ahead of public release.

Player options: Defender, defender, defender, defender, defender, defender, defender, defender, (goalie, striker and attacking midfielder only available via lootbox and home club permission).
Upgrade options: Camouflage waistcoat and paper-bag helmet, inflatable unicorn waist band.
Hidden easter eggs: in-game pizza hut advertising and customisable umbrellas.
Auto-bans for getting caught leaking details of exploits and loopholes to a journalist or promoting the use of faith healers.

:-D - hopefully nobody from EA reads this... sounds like a blueprint they'd approve of!

The Battlefield / BattleFront games always look so jaw-droppingly gorgeous and so promising - but the Dice engine seems to deliver games that feel flat and soul-less.

Would love this game to break the mould and get the feel of gun-play and the level of involvement right.

There's a side stealth mission where you're stuck on a Greek island trying to avoid detection from the local militia while trying to make it to the extraction point for an emergency evac. No guns, no back-up, just hand-hand and your bank account... Only problem is you're not very good at hiding and avoiding attention...

I wonder what fresh PC brigade BS they'll try to push with this version. If it is near future at least they won't be rewriting history this time.

Unless it is a sequel to Battlefield 2142? Not interested.

Battlefield 3 was just jaw dropping when it released, real game changer in terms of frantic action and visual fidelity. The Caspian Border trailer still gives me goose bumps when the armoured convoy starts rolling in with the drum beat! Go one then, for old times sake:

Re: EA will reveal the next Battlefield on Wednesday, 9th June

Well i could never have too much action, but between team A and team B, between points C - D - E - F on the map.

Any battle field game i have seen is all that plus and letter in the whole alphabet in any known language, and there is no amount of drugs or caffeinated drinks that could make me endure that BS.
So when i read "tactical" for any game, then i back the hell away, and i have seen no reason not to do that in the past decade and a half.

After watching that BF3 trailer I'd forgotten how much fun we used to have playing that...

I think Battlefield lost something after BF3, 4 was much the same as I understand it, and I tried a later one (Battlefield 1?) where I just kept insta dying to 13 year olds. Quickly gave up after that and returned to PUBG.

BF1942 and BF2 were great games too. BF1942 got me into online gaming tbh. It's just a shame all the DRM and mandatory online engines came along to put me off continuing.

True, truth be told my best Battlefield memories are from BF2. I did play 1942 as well, but that was the early stages of my introduction to PC gaming.
