I stopped looking at Ubisoft once they left Steam.

Re: Ubisoft reveals Assassin's Creed Infinity development plans

So, after being among the first to try and over charge for as little work as possible, Ubi finally admit they're green with envy, that Rockstar have succeeded in what they aimed and failed.

But from a company who will happily throw out annual redskins (across multiple franchises, not just reskinning one IP, all games are copy paste rubbish), I wouldn't have high hopes.

So they want to give you the same trash, but instead of giving you 20 different versions and lots of worthless dlc, they want to give you one (likely still many different versions/access options), but drop 2 minute skins for ridiculous profits.

    Not surprising

Beats me why people buy the cosmetic 'content' for games (outfits, paint-jobs, etc) with real cash - yet it seems to be a massive cash-cow for many developers.

When I'm running & gunning in Black Ops, I couldn't really care what the other players see... other than a hail of bullets coming from my direction ;-D

    Guess I must be old-school.

If you spend that many hours in-game, staring at your own ass-ets, it's always better if the view is to your liking. Why do you think games like Tomb Raider were that popular?

Re: Ubisoft reveals Assassin's Creed Infinity development plans

I'll start caring about Ubisoft games again when Ubisoft finally does something serious to address the abuse allegations instead of trying to cover it up or wait for The GamersTM to get bored.

    https://screenrant.com/ubisoft-employing-multiple-men-accused-abuse-report/
"In unison with news that a new, live-service Assassin's Creed Infinity is in the works at Ubisoft, it was revealed that even after an internal reorganization, managers that were accused of abusive behavior remain in senior positions."
