You mean, "A TURE gaming chassis".....
I honestly don't think I'd buy a product from a company that cannot spell-check its own marketing videos. Might have been forgivable if they'd included a handy docking recess in which to store and charge the controller, but they don't appear to have even done that right.
Plus it just looks ridiculous. It should be a full-on display panel, at least.
Scak the marketing departitment
Doesn't matter how nasty something is... someone will buy it ;-)
I recently saw a light up...uh.... plug for ladies with short skirts. It had RGB and they showed a woman on a night out wearing it with RGB glory coming from down her skirt.
Her facial expression was "my modelling agent said nothing about this when I signed up".
So yes.... I agree.
I wonder why no one has made a case yet with a led screen in the front?
You could use it for monitoring software or what ever, just set it up as a second monitor.
I think enough people already modded that in, that the trend had passed long before a case manufacturer felt it was a viable feature to include... and the increased cost of implementation at a reliable functional level likely puts the case above the affordability threshold of the target market.
Far cheaper to just get the Lamptron one or whatever and stick it in the case yourself. Maybe build and program the Arduino-ey version, or pull a JaysTwoCents, but those people tend to do it for the pleasure of DIY and wouldn't want a case makers' limited version anyway.
Inwin do come up with some creative ideas.
I quite like the idea of a matrix display on the front, and I also quite liked their "infinity panel" from a few years ago..they have come up with other good ideas recently too. It's just a shame most of them are attached to very mediocre cases with generally poor airflow - a common theme in the past year or so amongst case makers!
OMG !....Lets build a 4k gaming rig (when GPU are in abundance, one day) and play Tetris on the front of it.
I'm a big fan of games and this news gives my heart beat at full speed. Cant wait to buy this!
TPU reports that this case is now available to buy.
I see it listed at retailers in Taiwan, its home turf, for NTD7290, which is about £190 today.
