The Steam app on my Samsung TV stopped working properly ages ago so now have to either hook up the Steam Link box or use my 10 meter HDMI cable running from the PC along the skirting boards to the TV which is easiest way to do it given the TV is wall mounted and the ports are a nightmare to get to. Only downside with such a long HDMI lead is that it's a bit iffy when running any resolution above 1080p
