QOTW: Early impressions of Windows 11?

I don't like it as much as Windows 10. I am going to be one of the very few that miss the live tiles. Also, the hardware requirements are very limiting - computers that could otherwise run it are disqualified because of the need for a TPM chip. I think MS has slightly overstepped with these in one release.

Quite like the new windows myself, can easily change the location of the start from middle to left via settings.

I haven't tried it out yet, but this might be the windows release that eventually pushes me into Linux. Despite not liking major changes, new OS releases have generally been fine, IMO. However, forced obsolescence of older hardware could mean running an alternate OS on my other machines and, if I have to really get into the guts of Linux for some, I may well just go the whole hog.

This is assuming that MS really does end support for Win10 in '25.

Still far too early to say for sure, of course.
