I played SR3 a few times... I didn't really get it.
I'm probably not the target market, but it seemed like a jokey version of GTA (which I also don't especially get) and went a bit OTT when I was directing nuke strikes off a laptop.
It was a fun game,and look fine for what it is. I wonder how mod support for the EGS is ATM?? It wasn't great when I checked a long time ago.

I find it mildly amusing that Deep Silver are owned by "Koch Media", considering what they seem to do these days. The amount of bribes they have taken from Epic in the past few years in their efforts to screw over gamers is rather appalling....
Luckily for me I have zero interest in Saint's Row so I won't be missing out :)
On a serious note it's sad that this is still happening. This exclusivity stuff is just bad for all of us and will only stop if people stop buying the games. But just like with micro transactions before this, and the recent practice of "we'll sell you half the game for £45, and then the rest for three £20 DLC bundles or a £50 season pass" a significant proportion of the gaming community can't see the problem, and therefore the problem only gets worse :(

Not that I want to start the argument for a 5th time with *anyone* on this forum, but those scenarios are all rather different, and even if they were directly comparable, the adage of "two wrong's don't make a right" applies here imo. Whether it's legal or not isn't the issue :) Those scenarios you mention are all bad for the consumer, just as these exclusivity deals are bad for gamers.Quote:

This is a new game and we all know not to buy new games, as Cyberpunk recently proved, so by the time the timed exclusivity is up, it will not only be on your beloved Steam, but it will also have been patched and all the bugs will have been fixed. It might even have the Ultimate GOTY Collectors Super Edition with most of the DLC available.
