Honestly, I'd consider Nvidia owning ARM as superior to ARM being owned by an investment fund.
Personally, an independent vehicle financed by Apple, Nvidia, Google, Intel, AMD, Qualcomm, Microsoft, Amazon & Samsung (and making sure China has no aspect of control) sounds the best option

if they deny, it's corruption. governments and the FTC allowed AMD WITHOUT question, without one word against the buyout of XLINX.
Let NVIVIA expand already!! the industry needs NEW for things to progress, and NVIDIA has more than enough years of experience to do ARM justice.
Nvidia takeover of ARM is definitely not a big deal, infact Apple and Samsung are overcharging their phones compared to the cost of RnD and material usage.
It should never have left the UK in the first place, typical Britain selling off anything that's worth a damn !
That's a very apples to oranges comparison, xilinx main business is not licensing ip that's basically used by everyone in the industry, that's basically the only thing ARM does and almost every company in the semiconductor space depends on them for the core IP.Quote:
