More competition is always good. At least Intel finally stopped slacking and overpricing their products.

They are officially behind AMD in the CPU race, AMD are literally playing cat and mouse with Intel right now. As soon as Intel release their next generation, bang! ZEN4, Zen5 or whatever will come out. I must admit it is so nice to see the tables turned for once.
Charlie's coverage of the architecture Day is illuminating - in summary, it was more marketing and smoke and mirrors rather than the hard Architecture deep dives of years gone by.
If they have confidence in their tech and it is this close to release, why be so vague?
