Sounds good - Any more advances in these sorts of tech are only going to bring us more cool stuff!!
Imagine a folding phone that can then display a physically 3D contoured OS map, for example... That'd change a lot, from battlefield command to hiking and camping, to asset surveys, even to simple Google Maps.

or arguably something even more useful.. brail, instead of multiple sheets of paper etc they could have one device which changes when they finish reading the page etc.

Well, I recall seeing refreshable braille readers and other telesensory systems in office use back in the 1980s, so it's not a new concept. I think you'd be surprised how much tech support blind people have nowadays.

However, this reminds me of something......

"On the bosom of young Abigail
Was written the price of her tail
    And upon her behind,
For the use of the blind,
Was the same information in braille
    "

The Corries sang that so beautifully... and I will die horribly when either my daughter is old enough to understand this, or my wife learns I knew about it all along!!
