After the 'a' there will be three digits. The first series is expected to have three SKUs.

Re: Intel brand guidelines reveal 'Arc a-series graphics' nomenclature
I wonder if the Intel Arc x100 series GPUs will replace the integrated graphics? It would also be interesting to see what an x900 GPU would be like and whether it is a million miles of the equivalent x080 and x090 nVidia GPUs.
Re: Intel brand guidelines reveal 'Arc a-series graphics' nomenclature
As much as everyone hates on Intel much need extra GPU competition is good.

ATM DLSS/DLAA, and to a lesser (or just less well known) extent FSR are pretty big selling points, do Intel have their own version of this capability ? I remember reading they'd be using FSR, but nothing was noted about the tensor capabilities, which I think is the big thing behind these techs? (some correct me if I'm wrong, I've not really looked into it properly).

XeSS is Intels equivalent to DLSS.

XeSS is Intels equivalent to DLSS.
And it should also be compatible with FSR
I'm pumped for these to come out, hopefully they'll bring virtualization support for the regular people (as in not exclusive to enterprise)
Re: Intel brand guidelines reveal 'Arc a-series graphics' nomenclature
Naming aside. More GPUs in the market can only be good news

XeSS will not be compatible (as in, XeSS will not use FSR) with FSR but the Intel GPUs will be usable with FSR.
