Overall, well, you can put lipstick on a pig and dunk it in Chanel Mo.5 but .... it'll still be a pig. You can wrap a dog-pile in a pretty pink bow and it'll still be a dog-pile. You can change a company's name, but ....

It is a name for a new generation. For those, who don't know how it was without social media, they can read about bad stuff that FB did but will not read it about new Meta and they will use it because it is a part of everyone's life...

    Such a bad idea.

Their user base and their ability to dice it into tightly defined segments for advertisers is their product. Always has been.

Funny meta reminds me of weta. For those of you not familiar with kiwi fauna this is the weta. It is more desireable to have one of those in my house than anything to do with FB/zuckerburg. It's also a lot less predatory, to humans at least.

Facebook admin? Not via here. Hexus admin? Weird thread to choose you're better posting a new thread in the https://forums.hexus.net/hexus-suggestions/

Don't ask me why there isn't an obvious help/admin area. I don't think there will be much more development of the site going forwards.
