I have the Gen 1 laptop and it is mindbogglingly fast and quite portable (10 lbs) despite its enormous power. I can only expect the newer generation to be twice as good as the one I have in every way. Truly the best laptop I think...now only if dell introduces SATA RAID that would be great...and onboard HD sound.
I just Ordered the DELL XPS GEN 2 laptop!!!!!!!!!!! about 3400dollars, ( I had to talk them down Literally) and I also upgraded for 300 dollars to a Inspiron XPS-Gen2, Pentium M 780 (2.26GHz/533MHz FSB) from the 760 2.13 I CANT WAIT!!!!
ANd I got the 7200 rpm 60 GB and 2GB,DDR2,533MHz 2 Dimm,for Inspiron XPS-Gen2 I AM SALIVATING.
