Retro gamers unite! (Oh, and anyone over 25....)

Come on, be honest and admit your age... then take a stroll along to the Classic Gaming Expo in August...

Held at Fairfield Halls, Croydon on Saturday 13th August 2005, the Classic Gaming Expo has some very special guests this year, as well as plenty of stalls with something of interest for anyone into gaming.
    Special guests?

Check out the full story here for a list of the guys who'll be there... such as the creator of Jet Set Willy and Manic Miner... and a chance to win a MAME arcade cabinet!

Jeez I was too poor to afford even a zx81 or the old speccy.A rich mate had a commodore 64 when they first came out.I can remember when the original space invaders cabinets first came out.On a sunday morning instead of going to church I'd sneak off up to the local shop.It had a little room on the side with a space invaders machine and a couple of washing machines in it.i'd use my 20p collection try money to have a couple of games.Yes i was that good the 2 games would last me over and hour.....

I'm 25 and grew up with Amiga's. Had an A500 first, then an A1200. Fantastic machines and GREAT games.

Hmm, not too far from Croydon... How many people are gonna go?

May pop to that - although I worked on a project for Matty Smith's company, never had chance to meet him yet

The Shaw Bros? They're nutters - but brilliant in their way....

Well, if others are going, provided I'm not on holiday, I'll mosey along and shed a nostalgic tear...
