Hiper Type-R Modular Blue Line 580W PSU @ XtremeResources

Surely not another modular PSU? I must let you in on a secret. I bought an Ultra X-Connect modular PSU. It was good, until it started to fall apart and stop working, at which point it became crap. So, I bought a Tagan 2Force 530W instead... much better and I have still managed to keep the cabling tidy.

Why did I share this info with you? Well, modular PSUs are a great idea, but they need to be done properly, so in a way it's good that we're seeing more and more modular PSUs surfacing. After all, one of them has to end up being decent! Today's question: "Is Hiper's modular PSU any good?" Cue review:
I found the unit to have many features, actually the most that a power supply unit can have, while being very competitively priced. The price of the unit is not higher than most quality 480-520W units currently available and offers more than most of them. On the other hand, I could not find any considerable negative points to name. It also has many innovative and good looking features, which will appeal to most modders without any second thought. I cannot have an opinion on long-term reliability as the unit is brand new on the market, however the 3 years warranty surely eases my mind
