And it's a Pentium-M, so might perform half-well compared to the Mini.

It's a good point. A nice vertical standing model would be nicer and easier to put somewhere. Also I hate silver :p.
The main interesting point of this is that Intel commissioned AOpen to make a Pentium-M desktop machine, which means it gets a sort of "official" status.
Surely Apple will have a field day with their lawyers if they release that, it's virtually a Mac Mini clone!
