    Intel Preps Mac Mini Look-Alike

    Covered on Slashdot:

    Pictures on SilentPCReview:

And it's a Pentium-M, so might perform half-well compared to the Mini.

    Time will tell.

It's a good point. A nice vertical standing model would be nicer and easier to put somewhere. Also I hate silver .

The main interesting point of this is that Intel commissioned AOpen to make a Pentium-M desktop machine, which means it gets a sort of "official" status.

Surely Apple will have a field day with their lawyers if they release that, it's virtually a Mac Mini clone!

Saw an intel clone at IDF

This is of course an AOpen one - but could be classed as passing off
